After a two year assistantship, Kimberly continued teaching as a Visiting Instructor both in the Continuing Education program and the Summer Program offering classes in Sculpture, Painting and Drawing. She will be offering classes in Figure Sculpture and Figure Drawing for the Lyme Academy spring/summer program of 2007.
Kimberly joined the Fine Art Faculty of Amagansett Applied Arts in 2003. During her 3 1/2 years there, she launched the sculpture program and developed customized painting and drawing courses designed to train artists.
In conjunction with fellow artist Michael Viera, Kimberly is launching a new artist education program housed at the Golden Eagle in East Hampton, New York. This exciting new program is focused on the education of artists through fundamental training, studio practice and creative discussion. The atelier environment provides the simplicity necessary for undisturbed study, which students will find intense and refreshing. Course offerings include Oil Painting, Landscape Painting, Sculpture, Open Studio Mixed Media, Figure Drawing, Watercolor, and workshops in Fundamentals of Drawing, Pastels and Watercolor Basics.
